disagree with the philosopher Mark Rowlands who had come to a conclusion that
the human race had lost the capability to appreciate the present, he deduced
that the problem was we want our existence to have significance and we as human
beings are incapable of understanding how to do so. We miss the moment of now
in our quest for the meaning of life. (Graves, 2010) However, this is not the
case with Generation Y (the millennials) Van den Bergh’s (2014)
study illustrated that the millennials are keen for matchless experiences and
want to live in the now, they are all about positivity and positive change.
