The race was a massive victory for America, but

The Moon symbolises immortality and eternity. The moon
brings light to the dark and acts as a safety blanket for people who are lost
at night; both physically and emotionally. It is a feminine symbol, but leaders
don’t care about that. Why would they? All they cared about is: Who will
get there first? This is a question many people had in their mind at the time.
In 1969 the world watched as America took the victory once again, when the
astronauts took their first steps on the moon. Don’t they always? But the race
was not only in space. The moon landings provided the US with a priceless piece
of achievement against the Russians. In fact, some people think that it was so
valuable that they would have done anything to achieve it, even if it meant
having to pretend it. Winning the space race was a massive victory for America,
but some claim it was a Cold War deception filmed on earth.

America was pressurised at the time to be the first country
to land on the moon, as the Apollo space programme was funded approximately $30
billion. This meant that America had to reach the moon before Russia in order
to avoid humiliation and ensure that they continued to get funding. Many people
believe that sending men to the Moon was impossible at the time. It is argued
that landings had to be faked to fulfil Kennedy’s 1961 goal, “this nation
should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of
landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth.” In fact, NASA
accounted for the cost of Apollo to the US Congress in 1973, totalling $25.4
billion.

In order to reach the moon, astronauts had to pass through
what is known as the ‘Van Allen radiation belts’. This belt is held in place by
the Earth’s magnetic field and stays continuously in the same place. The Apollo
missions to the moon marked the first ever attempts to transport living humans
through the lethal space radiation. If the astronauts had really travelled to
the moon, they would have not survived the exposure to radiation of the Van
Allen radiation belts. Also the rocks that were brought back from the moon were
identical to rocks collected by scientific expeditions to Antarctica; this
shows that NASA could easily have pretended that the rocks were from the moon,
as many researchers have not studied material available on Antarctica at the
time.

During the landing of the Apollo 11 crew on the moon…a
video was taken by the astronauts to show this achievement, but after a little
while there were some things a little off with the video. Here is some photographic
evidence to prove that the whole thing was shot in a studio on earth and not in
space. In the picture of the American flag, it is clearly shown that the flag
is waving in the breeze. But the thing is that the moon is a vacuum, which
means there’s no air in the moon’s atmosphere, and therefore there is no wind
to cause the flag to blow. In this photograph you can see that there are many
shadows but they all are pointing in different angles. On the moon, there
should only be one light source: the Sun. So, logically, all shadows should be
parallel to each other, yet only the shadows in the photos of moon landing are
not. This proves there were several light sources present, as there are in a
studio. In this image you can see that there is a letter ‘c’ marked on the rock
and on the floor where the rock was placed nearby. Consequently, this could
provide proof for the ordeal occurring in a recording studio as it was placed
in the pre-designated area hence the identical letter on the floor and rock. In
this picture you can see that there are no stars present in the sky. Every
person knows that space is full of stars, so why don’t they appear in the
photographs. Surely from the moon, with its lack of clouds and complete absence
of artificial light, you should be able to see even more stars than on earth.
In this photograph, the footprints of the astronauts can be seen whereas the
landing module is just sitting on the surface. The landing module weighs
approximately 10,282kg and sits on the moon’s surface with no sign of impact
where the lunar module landed. In fact, it looks more like the lunar module was
just placed in position by the set designers.

To conclude,
the Moon theory depends on the facts listed above. In my opinion, I think that
everyone has their own motive to do what they do. But if what they are doing is
misleading people then the truth should be exposed and not overlooked. Some
people might disagree with me and say that they are just minor signs but when
there is clear proof, like there is, people really need to consider whether
they don’t understand or don’t want to understand. The Moon, not a prize won by
whoever gets there first, an element of beauty owned by Nature itself.
